Tufts Medical Center Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine is seeking an Academic Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician to join the team at our community site in Lowell, MA. The division offers Intensivist and Interventional Pulmonary services across three hospitals within the Tufts Medicine system, including General Pulmonary and Pulmonary Hypertension clinics. The role involves joining the General Pulmonary outpatient clinic, Lung Specialists of Merrimack Valley (LSMV), working alongside other pulmonary and critical care physicians. Responsibilities include outpatient pulmonary clinic work, up to 8 weeks inpatient roles as Intensivist in LGH ICU and optionally MICU at TMC, and pulmonary consultant duties for hospitalized patients at LGH. The physician will read Pulmonary Function Tests one week per month with dedicated clinic time. The LSMV clinic has strong staffing support. Opportunities exist to precept fellows, participate in clinical trials, and engage in professional development and mentorship. The position suits mid-career or early-career physicians interested in academic environments. Requirements include passion for pulmonary and critical care medicine, board eligibility/certification in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, and preferably a current Massachusetts medical license.
