ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Jim Tom - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish customer relationships and follow up with insurance customers, as needed.
• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options. Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate insurance customers about insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
• Develop insurance leads, schedule insurance appointments, identify insurance customer needs, and market appropriate insurance products and services.
• Develop new prospective customers to quote, sell and service State Farm Insurance products

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations. Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Fast learning ability
• Positive Attitude - Coachable
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred
• Property & Casualty and Life & Health Illinois Insurance Licenses (possess or able to acquire)

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. State Farm agents employees are not employees of State Farm Companies.
