Schedule : Days (7a-7p) + rotating weekends

How you will contribute

A Float Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

Supervise and coordinate care in a manner to ensure that patient needs are provided in an efficient manner and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.

Possess the knowledge to safely apply theory and practice using the Nursing Process of Assessment, Diagnosis, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation.

Ability to work with all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.

Ability to work with Paragon applications (Electronic Medical Record), as well as other computer systems for patient care.

What we are looking for

[Virginia, United States] Registered Nurse and current RN license required.

BLS required upon hire.

ACLS, PALS, and Advanced Stroke Course are required within 6 months of hire.

Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) preferred.

At least two years of clinical experience is required in critical care, ED, PACU, or similar.

Must respond within 60 minutes if placed on call.
