The Role as a Sales & Education Advisor, you will represent DAMDAM Tokyo at Sephora locations in San Francisco. Your responsibilities will include training Beauty Advisors, driving in-store engagement, and ensuring sales growth. The ideal candidate is a skincare enthusiast with strong communication skills, a deep understanding of skincare and a proven track record of inspiring, educating and selling skincare products. This is a part-time position requiring a no more than 10 hours per week. Ideal for someone looking to contribute in a flexible, low-hour capacity while staying engaged in the beauty and wellness space.
Responsibilities
1. Sales Support:
- Educate customers on benefits, unique offering of DAMDAM Tokyo, address client needs through store visits, events, and other formats to exceed sales goals
- Collaborate with Sephora store teams to maximize product visibility and sales performance
- Schedule and execute store visits and events on a monthly basis to support Sephora stores
- Manage the store visit calendar with the internal team, aligning on product focus and messaging
2. Education & Training
- Conduct engaging product training sessions for Sephora store staff to ensure they are fully educated about our brand and product offerings, drive sales
- Develop and deliver education materials, including product guides, tutorials, and demonstrations
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and product knowledge to serve as a trusted skincare expert
3. Communication
- Build and maintain relationships with the Sephora staff to develop advocates for the brand
- Participate in regular calls with the internal team to report back on status, sales performance, inventory, and other insights
Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation
- 2+ years of beauty industry experience as an advisor
- Experience working with Sephora or other premium beauty retailers is preferred
- Must live in the greater San Francisco area
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Exceptional time management and communication skills
- Ability to work on your feet for 4-8 hours
Compensation
- Base Rate: $25-$30
