Responsibilities:

• As a Software Developer at GDIT, I will deliver simple solutions to complex problems by tailoring cutting-edge solutions to the unique requirements of our clients. My main responsibilities will include:
• Serving as an integrator between business needs and technical solutions.
• Working creatively and efficiently to solve difficult technical problems.
• Developing custom applications and performing unit testing using Salesforce.com APEX and Visualforce pages.
• Performing data migration using Salesforce.com Data Loader.
• Designing and developing functionalities and web integration using Apex, along with user interface design using Visualforce pages.
• Utilizing Force.com IDE to deploy and migrate applications, and using Eclipse for development, testing, and deployment.
• Gaining experience with Sales Cloud or Service Cloud.
• Displaying a technical understanding of Lightning and ensuring firm knowledge of Force.com, Communities, and Service Cloud.
• Understanding Salesforce Design and Development Best Practices, Apex Design Parameters, Governor Limits, and Shared Platform Best Practices.
• Collaborating effectively across teams.
• Security clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph.

The likely salary range for this position is $116,979 - $135,530, based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements. The scheduled weekly hours are 40 with less than 10% travel required. This position is onsite in Chantilly, VA.
