Job Description
Key responsibilities will include:
- Performing day-to-day SAP BASIS administration tasks, including system monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting
- Supporting SAP systems hosted on-premise as well as those transitioning to or running within the Azure cloud platform.
- Collaborating with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to plan and execute system migrations, integrations, and cloud optimizations.
- Ensuring compliance with security standards, backup procedures, and disaster recovery requirements. Assisting with performance analysis and capacity planning to support growth and long-term sustainability.
- This position requires a high level of technical expertise in SAP BASIS administration, experience with cloud infrastructure (preferably Microsoft Azure), and a strong understanding of ERP systems in a public sector environment.
Required Skills
- Five years’ experience with SAP BASIS administration and technical core tasks including SAP software installation, upgrade, support packages, patches, workload analysis, system error analysis, performance monitoring, and maintenance of multi-landscape environments.
- Two years’ experience working with an SAP operational system for a Public Sector client.
- Two years’ experience with Linux/DB2 and Windows/MSSQL.
- One year experience with Azure cloud computing platform
