Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with an active IL license to provide services in a school setting for a cooperative-wide, itinerant role.

Responsibilities

• Work across multiple schools within the cooperative as an itinerant School Physical Therapist
• Serve a diverse age range of students from pre-kindergarten through age 22
• Part-time schedule of 0.6 FTE, working 3 days per week, typically 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
• Day shift position with 21 hours per week
• Responsibilities include providing physical therapy services to students to support their educational needs
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary educational teams is expected
• The position covers a wide range of student abilities and developmental stages
• Professional dress appropriate for a school environment is required

Requirements

• Active IL Physical Therapist license required if applicable
• Experience working with school-aged children and young adults is preferred
• Ability to travel between sites within the cooperative as needed
