Senior Accountant - WORK/LIFE BALANCE!
Hauppauge, NY
Our client is a growing CPA firm looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team. Qualified candidates will have a degree in Accounting along with at least four years of public accounting experience with experience providing general accounting services to clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable and growing CPA firm and gain invaluable experience that will translate into future advancement. The firm is focused taking very good care of their employees, providing reasonable workload, including minimizing overtime hours during busy seasons. This is an onsite role, 5 days a week, offering a salary in the range of $95,000-115,000 plus a bonus incentive and company contribution to the 401k plan.
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include:
· Monthly, quarterly and year end accounting and financial statement prep and tax planning for clients in various industries
· Working closely with firm’s Partners on client engagement planning
· Overseeing junior staff on client engagements
· Collaborating with client CFO’s, Controller’s, government agencies, etc. to create detailed and accurate financials
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
· Four plus years of prior public accounting experience required
· CPA certification or progress towards licensure preferred, but not required
