The Senior Analyst, Data Analytics serves as an analytic shared service to both internal and external partners. The team operates as subject matter experts in functional areas to understand analytic needs within the business, performs the analysis and deploys the results/solutions back to the business partners.
Responsibilities - Leverage and mine data assets to deliver actionable insights to cross-functional business partners
- Communicate effectively with less technical business partners to understand business problems, suggest solutions, and measure outcomes
- Present findings/observations to both junior and senior-level teams
- Develop self-service visualization capabilities to serve the needs of business partners
- Partner with data science and data governance teams to enhance data processes and leverage advanced analytics capabilities to deliver incremental sales.
Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of coding, data analytics, and data visualization experience
- Proficient in SQL and experience with Python
- Experience working in cloud environment
- Demonstrated ability to breakdown complex business questions, to develop an analytic approach, to translate data into concise and actionable insights, and to present the insights back to non-technical business partners
- Completes work independently; receives general guidance on new projects
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired: - Experience with data analytics tools such as Hex, JuptyerLab, Snowpark, and PowerBI
- Understanding of test/control methodology
- Experience working in a corporate retail environment
Education - Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
