Job Title: Senior Business Analyst
Contract Duration: 3+ Months
Location: Dartmouth, NS
Work Type: Onsite

Project:

• GTT is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia to work on a 3-month contract with a strong possibility of extension.

The Position:

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:

• Provide expert business analysis on multiple projects in collaboration with Project Managers, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of project workstreams to support current state analysis and future-state design and development.
• Conduct analysis of business rules, processes, and functional requirements, creating documentation to communicate and validate findings.
• Implement tools and processes for tracking business and technical requirements, testing, and change control.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions with functional and non-functional specifications.
• Create comprehensive project deliverables, such as:
  • Project Vision Documents
  • Requirement Management Plans
  • User Stories, Use Cases, Test Cases
  • Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
  • Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM)
  • Functional and Non-Functional Specifications
  • System Requirement Specifications (SRS)
• Develop and execute acceptance criteria and test plans for product, performance, user acceptance, and operational acceptance testing.
• Partner with Program Managers, Project Managers, Architects, Cybersecurity Leads, Privacy Officers, and Change Managers.
• Assist in RFP and SOW creation and evaluation.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: A minimum of 10 years as a Business Analyst, including expertise in requirements gathering, testing, and collaborating with project teams and stakeholders.
• Skills:
  • Strong facilitation skills for requirements elicitation through interviews, workshops, and workflow analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Expertise in mapping complex processes, analyzing data, and delivering actionable business recommendations.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with government (federal, provincial, municipal, or crown corporation) projects is an asset.
