We are seeking an experienced Senior Physical Design Engineer to join a dynamic team. As a Senior Physical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the physical design of complex semiconductor products, ensuring that designs meet performance, power, and area (PPA) goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including digital design, verification, and DFT teams, to deliver high-quality, manufacturable designs.

Job Description:

• Lead physical design efforts for advanced ASICs and SoCs, from floorplanning to tape-out.
• Perform synthesis, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, and sign-off activities.
• Optimize power, performance, and area (PPA) metrics through various physical design techniques.
• Work with design and verification teams to resolve issues during the RTL-to-GDSII flow.
• Conduct timing analysis, static timing verification (STA), and signal integrity checks.
• Perform DRC/LVS checks and ensure adherence to foundry design rules and process guidelines.
• Ensure the design is optimized for manufacturability, yield, and testability.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership in physical design methodologies.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate different blocks and manage floorplan, power distribution, and clocking strategies.
• Provide input and feedback on design and process improvements for continuous optimization.
