About the Position:
Our client, a leading international law firm, has an active need for an experienced private equity lawyer (5-7 yrs of experience) to join its Corporate and Private Equity practice as a senior associate in Chicago. The attorneys in this practice focus on a variety of private equity transactions, including leveraged buy-outs, independent sponsor transactions, rollups, minority and junior capital investments, going private transactions and purchases of companies in or out of bankruptcy.

Advise clients on acquisitions for private equity funds, ensuring deals align with the funds strategic goals
Provide debt financing advice for private equity deals
Perform due diligence to identify potential liabilities and risks
Required Qualifications:
5 7 years of experience with acquisitions for private equity funds
Demonstrated ability to lead transactions
Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $355,000 $410,000.
