A full-service tax and accounting firm in Park City, Utah, is seeking a strong Senior Tax Manager to lead its tax practice. This is a great opportunity for an experienced CPA who wants to be an integral part of their leadership team. This position will involve significant client interaction, requiring you to be personable, confident, and professional. You should also possess a high level of organization, be a self-starter, and be able to work with minimal supervision. You must have a great attitude and be a model example to other staff and team members.

• Compensation: $90k+ DOE

What You Will Do

• Manage the preparation of business and personal tax returns from start to finish
• Develop, motivate, and coach various team members
• Utilize exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Maintain strong knowledge of current federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Provide comprehensive tax planning guidance and advice to clients
• Research complex tax issues and develop tax planning strategies
• Review tax returns prepared by others for accuracy and compliance

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or tax
• Minimum of 5 years of tax preparation experience in a Public Accounting setting
• Master’s in Taxation (preferred)
• CPA certification (preferred)
• Proficiency in Ultra Tax and Thomson Reuters Suite (preferred)
• Strong proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently with minimal supervision
