Senior Treasury Analyst
We are seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious Senior Treasury Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. This role is critical in overseeing treasury operations to minimize the organization’s exposure to credit, interest rate, and foreign exchange risks. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and excited about leveraging technology to drive change and improve efficiency.
Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: Monday-Friday - 7 am - 4 pm
Pay rate: $40-$42/hr
Duties:
Treasury Operations & Cash Management
Monitor, analyze, and report cash flow activities (daily, weekly, monthly).
Prepare reports on the allocation of financial services across banking partners.
Back up Cash Analysts and Senior Analysts as needed.
Prepare letters and documentation for bank service changes and treasury updates.
Manage intercompany interest calculations and In-House Bank (IHB) reporting.
Financial & Risk Analysis
Conduct financial and cost-benefit analysis of cash management products and initiatives.
Track and initiate letters of credit and related fee payments.
Support hedging activities (interest rate, currency, and commodity risk).
Corporate Finance & Reporting
Support corporate finance efforts such as funding sources, capital structure, investment appraisal, and stakeholder reporting.
Administer the credit card program (set up users, manage web portals, and bank accounts).
Assist in external funding-related communications.
Projects & Process Improvement
Lead or support concurrent projects focused on risk mitigation, cost reduction, and treasury system efficiencies.
Maintain and improve treasury financial models and dashboards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is required.
5–10 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, with hands-on Treasury Operations experience.
Familiarity with treasury workstations (e.g., Kyriba) and banking software is strongly preferred.
Advanced knowledge of In-House Banking (IHB).
Experience with international banking regulations and processes.
Proficiency in ERP systems, financial software, and cash management tools.
Technology-savvy; experience in Python, R, or dashboard development is a plus.
Project management experience is highly desirable.
