Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Soldering Technician with expertise in electronic component assembly, specifically for the electronic control panels of pipe organs . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in precision soldering, PCB repair, and assembly, working with both traditional and modern electronic systems that integrate with these historic and complex musical instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed soldering of components on electronic panels for pipe organs.
• Assemble, repair, and test printed circuit boards (PCBs) used in organ control systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic circuitry for faults and perform necessary repairs.
• Collaborate with engineers and organ builders to ensure the seamless integration of electronics with mechanical organ components.
• Follow schematics and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate component placement and connection.
• Conduct quality assurance tests on all completed soldering work, verifying functionality.
• Maintain organized and safe workspaces, adhering to industry safety standards.
• Document all work performed, including component lists, wiring diagrams, and repair notes.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of electrical safety standards .
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
