Minimum 5 years of expert-level experience as a Splunk Architect
In-depth knowledge of Splunk search head and indexer clustering topology
Proficient in shell scripting and Linux/Windows system administration
Some experience with programming languages (Java, Python, Windows scripts)
Strong understanding of regular expressions
Excellent debugging and analytical skills
Effective communicator with ability to collaborate across teams (vendors, system admins, etc.)
Demonstrated creativity and success in implementing innovative technology solutions
Preferred experience with deployment tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, BladeLogic, AutoSys)
Experience working in secure, multi-data center environments
Familiarity with other monitoring tools
Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
Splunk Enterprise Certified Administrator or Architect certification is a plus
