Job Description

Reporting to the Director, Walmart Field, you will lead our sales efforts across all National Walmart field sales and oversee a team of Regional Account Managers to implement our Large Format strategies at over 4,700 Walmart stores. Main responsibilities include coaching your direct reports, managing budgets and goals, developing productive business relationships, and building joint business plans with senior leadership across Walmart Regions. You will perform analysis of total Walmart business to determine the effectiveness of promotions and programming.

  • Manage team to call on Walmart field leaders to use our assets and set us apart from competitors

    Influence Walmart field leaders to implement incremental promotions/programming above Home Office foundational plan to increase volume and win share

    Use our marketing assets and manage associated funds designated to accelerate business in top regions

    Exceed volumetric/revenue targets

    Produce business updates, promotional programs, and resources distributed to national network (internally and externally)

    Monitor market trends, and consumer and competitor information to calibrate and guide regional plans

    Align with the regions through annual roadshow presentations, in market store visits, and Distributor Partner visits

    Coach/develop field teams on proper use of all internal Walmart standard Operational Processes including Asset Protection, Cooler Blueprints, MOD Integrity, VOLT App credentials, PO and FSS management

  • Manage custom multi-million dollar POS budgets and evaluate return on investment to inform future spend

    Allocate resources where the investment has the highest payback with important high-volume regions

    Perform post-promotion analysis process following all programs to evaluate promotional effectiveness and in-store execution

    Forecast CAPEX/OPEX spend with consideration of prior year performance

  • Ensure successful partnerships, programs, retail relationships, and collaborative relationships with Red Bull & Distributor Partners (DP) field personnel in each region for your team.

    Coach your account managers to develop impactful programs and retail relationships

    Coach and motivate direct reports for increased productivity through time in the field, the office, and meetings to implement our strategy

  • Maintain business relationships with senior management across Walmart nationally

    Ensure regional account managers are following outlined processes that keep retailer and region decision makers focused on the energy segment with supporting strategies that are either national in scope or customized to region needs

  • Partner with distribution network to maximize in-store presence and consumer impact

    Establish necessary tools and business review templates to ensure data consistency with BUs and DPs

    Use business insights and analyst teams to provide the distributor network and field with selling tools

    Align the DP network with appropriate Walmart personnel

    Collaborate with DP Senior Leadership to promote business in top volume regions

  • Maintain working knowledge of all our systems (BI, IRI, CPM, Workbench, etc.)

    Lead our priorities, goals, and results across CPM (a long-term business transformation process) as it relates to ALL Key Account processes.

    Develop trainings and processes to ensure CPM becomes part of our culture

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

  • 10+ years of Sales and Key Account experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and Direct Store Delivery (DSD) industry
  • Experience using internal and external data sources to produce insights (i.e. Nielsen, IRI, CPM, and Sales Data)
  • Negotiation experience
  • Experience managing a team
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Must be fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage
  • Travel 40-50%
