Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a friendly, welcoming attitude as they enter.
• Provide menus , answer questions about our drinks, and offer recommendations based on customer preferences.
• Take and prepare orders following recipes for hot and cold beverages.
• Process payments (cash and credit cards) and ensure accurate transactions.
• Keep the bar area clean and organized.
• Follow health and safety regulations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.

What Youll Do:

• Engage: Meet new people every day! Greet customers with a smile and offer them a moment of joy.
• Ask & Educate: Guide customers through our menu, explain ingredients, and introduce new products and specials.
• Embody Our Culture: At South LA Caf, we believe in building relationships. We may serve beverages, but were truly in the relationship business.
• Be Consistent: Deliver high-quality drinks with speed and accuracyour customers expect nothing less.

• Be Reliable: Show up on time, ready to go, and communicate your availability needs clearly.
• Help Out: Support your team when needed, and be flexible in your role.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• A passion for coffee and creating exceptional customer experiences.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
