We need a Welder/Fabricator to interpret customer designs, handling orders from prototypes to thousands. While working with all materials, this role emphasizes stainless steel TIG welding. The ideal candidate will have strong welding, fabrication, and mechanical skills, including blueprint reading. Duties: Fabricate components using MIG, TIG, Brazing, and Fiber Laser welding. Interpret blueprints and schematics. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery (shear, drill, press brake) for fabrication. Conduct quality checks with calipers and micrometers for precision; no tape measures. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Collaborate consistently with team members on projects. Safely operate forklifts for material handling. Skills: Proven experience in welding and fabrication environments with a focus on building to varying customer specifications. Proficiency in various welding techniques with TIG welding being the main priority. Strong understanding of fabrication processes and mechanical principles. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents effectively are a firm requirement of the job. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment and processes associated with a highly varied job-shop. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations related to projects.
