Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Psychiatric for a travel nursing job in Saratoga Springs, New York.

Travel RN – Psych (Inpatient Mental Health Unit)

Facility: Saratoga, NY
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Nights)
Schedule: Every other weekend & holiday required
Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
Contract Length: 13 weeks (91 days)
Charting: EPIC (Required)
Start Date: ASAP

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care on inpatient mental health unit
• Manage acute psychiatric patients
• Participate in de-escalation, safety, and therapeutic interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary behavioral health team

Requirements:

• Experience:
  • Minimum 2–3 years recent inpatient Psych/MHU/BHU experience
  • Travel nursing experience preferred
• Certifications:
  • Current BLS (AHA)
  • De-escalation training (MANDT, CPI, or equivalent)
• EMR: EPIC experience required
• License: Active NY RN license

  • Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, Ulster, Albany
• Employment Restrictions:
  • No former staff within past year at this facility
  • No current/former AMC network staff within past 6 months (AMC, GFH, Saratoga, CMH)
• Facility Call-Off Policy: Up to 5 shifts per contract
• Facility physical required ($96 cost)
• COVID vaccination may apply – check credentialing
