About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Corporate Communications to lead its global team and serve as a key partner within the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of corporate communications, including internal and external messaging, product communications, and corporate social responsibility. This high-visibility role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in the biopharmaceutical industry, capable of driving a comprehensive communications strategy that aligns with business objectives and effectively conveys the company's culture and programs. The VP will oversee the development of various communication materials, provide crisis communication support, and ensure that all messaging is consistent with the company's branding. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years of experience in corporate communications within the biopharma industry, with a preference for a mix of in-house and agency experience. The role demands a candidate with strong business and media acumen, excellent writing and editing skills, and the ability to work closely with C-suite executives. A patient-centered approach and a commitment to the company's core values are essential. The VP will also be responsible for managing a global communications budget, leading a team of professionals, and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the company's reputation through thought leadership and media engagement. A Bachelor's degree is required, and a Master's degree is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the biopharmaceutical business and the ESG landscape, with experience in ESG reporting.
