About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Cyber Defense Operations (CDO) to play a pivotal role in the establishment of a robust, threat-based cyber defense program. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader, responsible for the strategic direction and transformation of the CDO organization, with a focus on modern incident response, advanced detection engineering, and threat hunting capabilities. This role demands a senior leader with a deep understanding of various cyber security disciplines, including security operation centers, vulnerability management, and business engagement. The VP, CDO will be at the forefront of defending the company from cyber security threats, leading a 24/7 SOC, and driving tactical and strategic remediation efforts. Strong communication, leadership, and business acumen are essential, as is the ability to influence and provide strategic direction to the cyber mission. Applicants for the VP, CDO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in a leadership role within the cyber security field, with a proven track record of defending large, complex global computing enterprises. The ideal candidate will have experience in multiple large environments, particularly within the cyber defense components, and a background in the media and advanced technology industries.
