Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Marketing to lead the marketing efforts of our Farm and Agriculture Retail supply store.

As the VP of Marketing you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies across digital commerce, traditional marketing, and advertising channels to increase revenue growth and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing a digital commerce strategy: As the VP of Marketing you should be responsible for developing a digital commerce strategy that aligns with your overall marketing strategy. This strategy should include tactics for acquiring new customers, retaining existing customers, and increasing sales.
  • Creating and executing digital marketing campaigns: You would be responsible for creating and executing digital marketing campaigns that drive traffic to your digital commerce platform. This may include email marketing, social media advertising, pay-per-click advertising, and search engine optimization.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and brand awareness.
  • Oversee the development and execution of all marketing campaigns including email marketing, social media digital advertising print advertising, and in-store promotions.
  • Develop and manage a marketing budget ensuring all spending is aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and preferences and translate findings into actionable insights for the business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute product launches and promotions.
  • Analyze and report on key performance metrics to optimize marketing campaigns and drive business results.
  • Manage a team of marketing professionals including hiring training and performance management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices and continuously identify new opportunities to grow the business.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing business administration or related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Experience managing a team and developing high-performing marketing professionals.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns across traditional marketing advertising and digital commerce channels.
  • Knowledge of the Farm and Agriculture industry preferred but not required.
  • Salary range $175,000-$225,000
