About the Role

The Company is in search of a VP, Membership to lead the evolution of its membership program, with a focus on redefining social sports, community, and play. The successful candidate will be tasked with owning and scaling the membership ecosystem, driving high retention, strong referrals, and exceptional customer experience. This role requires a strategic and dynamic leader with a hospitality mindset, capable of developing and executing membership strategies that align with the company's vision. Responsibilities include designing a hospitality-driven membership experience, creating a comprehensive loyalty strategy, and integrating membership into the operations of the company's venues. The VP, Membership will also be responsible for cross-functional leadership, collaborating with local market teams, and fostering a culture of community and continuous improvement. Candidates for the VP, Membership position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in membership, loyalty, hospitality, consumer experience, or subscription-based businesses. A proven track record in scaling a membership or loyalty program with strong retention, engagement, and revenue results is essential. The role demands strong analytical and financial acumen, as well as exceptional cross-functional leadership skills. A background in hospitality, sports/recreation, fitness/wellness, or multi-unit businesses is preferred. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to operate tactically, and will have a passion for building community-driven brands. Experience in high-growth environments and a background in startups is a plus, as is a passion for community, health, and social wellness initiatives.
