*This position is based out of our Westlake, OH office and is eligible for a hybrid schedule after the probationary period.

JOB OVERVIEW

The Video Content Creator is responsible for producing dynamic, high-quality video content across multiple platforms to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion. This individual will lead the entire video production process – from planning and filming to editing – enhancing storytelling with motion graphics and animation to elevate visual impact. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, is highly creative, and is passionate about exploring emerging technologies, particularly AI, to enhance production efficiency and scale output.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Lead end-to-end video production, including shoot planning, set creation, lighting, filming, editing, audio and advanced motion graphics and animations.
  • Concept and create visually compelling motion graphics to enrich storytelling, simplify complex ideas, and enhance the viewer experience.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to translate concepts into video narratives aligned with brand and content strategy and goals.
  • Develop storyboards and production plans to ensure creative vision is accurately realized and projects are executed effectively.
  • Captures high-quality video footage for a variety of marketing initiatives including internal communications, digital marketing, product launches, educational series, and live event coverage.
  • Edit raw footage into polished final products, ensuring consistency in visual style, tone, and branding.
  • Integrate graphic and visual effects, typography, music, voice-over, and sound design to enhance the overall impact of the video content.
  • Experiment with and adopt AI tools to automate aspects of editing, enhance creative workflows, and increase content velocity.
  • Advocate for innovation in video production by staying up to date on AI trends, emerging video tools, and new creative techniques.
  • Participates in content development, providing engaging, impactful and appropriate ideas for social media, digital advertising, prospect/client education and internal/promotional efforts.
  • Direct and coach on-screen talent to achieve natural, engaging performances.
  • Manages and prioritizes multiple video projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Operates and maintains audio and video equipment.
  • Captures high-quality audio and configures sound systems for both in-room and virtual audiences, including routing microphone feeds through speakers and integrating with platforms (like Microsoft Teams or Zoom) to ensure clear, synchronized audio for remote viewers.
  • Optimizes video content for various digital platforms including social media, web, and email marketing to ensure maximum visibility and engagement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in digital media, video, film production or related field. In lieu of degree, related job experience in corporate video production.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in video production.
  • Creative mindset with strong storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail, visual composition, and aesthetics.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to follow brand guidelines and standards closely.
  • Self-starter that values collaboration and feedback.
  • Portfolio required.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

To be successful in this role, you should have experience with and an understanding of the following:

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects and Illustrator.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Proficient in video focused social media platforms, trends and best practices (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube and Shorts).

This job requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
