PDS Computer Systems is seeking qualified candidates with strong design skills to fill the Web Graphic Design position within our New York City (NY) office. We are looking for an individual who has a passion for cutting-edge innovations and technology within the world of Web development. Requirements Must be an experienced graphic artist with strong design skills and 3+ years experience in information architecture, usability, and/or design roles. Ability to adapt project visuals to a variety of design styles to fit individual client needs in various industries such as e-commerce, associations, sports, and corporate websites. HTML 5, mobile, user interface design knowledge/experience considered a plus. A solid understanding of contemporary web trends and techniques. Strong knowledge of designing for User Experience and User Interface. Experience working on consumer-facing internet applications developing both page layout for maximum usability and optimal graphic design. Ability to work on both Wire framing and Graphical Design. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash). Strong time management, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. The ability and desire to work in a collaborative and creative environment. Master understanding of color, space, and typography. A basic understanding of the latest SEO techniques and mobile design trends. Requires strong problem-solving skills and research skills including competitive assessments, photo, and asset research. Self-motivation and the skills to take charge of their projects and see them through. Bachelor's Degree.
