Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. (ACT) is a manufacturer of thermal management products for diverse industries and applications, including commercial satellites, military vehicles, medical devices, primary calibration equipment, and HVAC systems. ACT is looking for team members who are passionate about creativity and innovation and looking to make a difference each and every day. Currently we have an immediate opening for an Engineering Technician/Welder in our Lancaster facility.

Position Summary : The Welding Technician position is a hands-on position that works closely with the Engineering staff to build and test thermal products. In addition to providing welding support for all products, this position includes support of all aspects of product development to manufacturing transitions, manufacturing tooling design, and mid to high volume manufacturing process development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• TIG welding of aerospace products
• Support engineering staff in the design, fabrication, test of thermal products and support hardware.
• Identify materials, both incoming and in-process, as required per material identification and inspection procedures.
• Braze or solder thermal products and support hardware.
• Use initiative, imagination, and knowledge to assist design, fabrication, and test of thermal products and support hardware.
• Acts to assure product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Aides in the development of responsive delivery schedules.
• Assists in the development of fabrication and test procedures and methods.
• Perform preventive maintenance, as required.
• Perform in-process and final inspections, as required.

• High School diploma or GED required
• Professional TIG welding training/certification or relevant experience
• Experience in fabrication, brazing, machining, assembly, testing, and basic electricity is highly desirable.
• Must be a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15? (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) due to ITAR restrictions.
