**_Job Family_ :** Investigator ** _Travel Required_ :** None ** _Clearance Required_ :** None ** _What You Will Do_****:** The responsibilities of the Analyst will include, but are not limited to: * Performing AML alertcase reviews, seeking to mitigate risks associated to financial crimes and suspicious activity. * Applying research and analytic techniques to digest complex information sets in order to make logical and adequately supported determinations in regard to unusual and potentially suspicious activity. * Applying consistent and well-documented analysis consistent with industry standards to ensure success in the following daily efforts of Transaction Monitoring: * Conducting an end-to-end and meticulous review of potential illegal or suspicious activity; * Completing a time-sensitive and meticulous analysis of each instance of potential Anti-Money Laundering activity andor suspicious financial activity across multiple jurisdictions and countries; * Assessment of customer profiles and client data to identify whether activity is consistent with typical purchasingpayment activity, including Acceptable Use Policy adherence and Know Your Customer efforts; * Documenting findings in narrative style format, in the manual and automated process case management system and prepare updates to Project Managers Team Leads as appropriate; and * Make determinations for potential Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) filings. **_What You Will Need_****:** * 5 days in office requirement * Bachelors degree and minimum 1+ years of prior relevant experience. However, relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or advanced degree. * Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines (e.g., BSA, OFAC, FinCEN guidance). * Experience working with manual and system generated alertscases for the detection of potentially suspicious activity. * Experience should include EDD, Transaction Monitoring or similar roles for Financial ServicesFin-Tech sector. * Knowledge of US reporting requirements as it relates to suspicious activity reports and cash transaction activity. * Ability to detect and mitigate red flags for potential financial crime, including money laundering, terrorism financing activities and fraud, as it appears in transactional data. * Solid Excel Skills ** _What Would Be Nice To Have_****:** * 2+ years of experience assessing and reviewing system generated and manual AML alerts andor escalationsSAR write-ups for potentially suspicious activity. * Experience with AML risks associated with cryptocurrencies. * CAMS certification. * Specific experience with cryptocurrency products as a user and or experience working in the digital currency industry. * End to end understanding of Transaction Monitoring KYC Screening Fraud OperationsJurisdiction specific SAR filingNarrative from documentary and non-documentary verification and as per relevant policy, nature of business, source of wealthfunds, and customer screening against the watchlist of Sanctions, PEP, and adverse media. **_What We Offer_ :** Guidehouse offers a comprehensive, total rewards package that includes competitive compensation and a flexible benefits package that reflects our commitment to creating a diverse and supportive workplace.
