Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Appliance Repair Technician at American Housing in Washington, DC. The Appliance Repair Technician will be responsible for performing equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring tenant satisfaction through effective communication.

Qualifications

• Appliance Repair and Equipment Maintenance skills. This includes installation or repair of appliances in residential homes. These appliances include but are not limited to refrigerators and freezers, ovens, dishwashers, microwaves, garbage disposals, washing and drying machines.
• Troubleshooting abilities
• Strong Communication skills
• Customer Satisfaction focus
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Technical diploma or relevant certification
• Prior experience in appliance repair or maintenance

Required Certifications

• Refrigeration and Air Conditioning - Washington, D.C. Master Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic License
• Appliance Repair - Certification from Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
• National Appliance Service Technician Certification (NASTeC)
