Job Description
Robert Half is hiring for a fully onsite for Check Processing for a contract opportunity from mid-February through May/June in North Huntingdon/Irwin area. Pay is $13-$14 an hour based off experience.
· Time- 7:30-3:30 M-F no overtime
· 30-minute unpaid lunch break (can leave floor)
· Dress code - business casual, jeans, business causal shirt, tennis shoes permitted
Check Scanner is a position which requires employees to use small desktop scanner to image bank checks from taxpayers. Candidate must have some technical abilities to run and clean machines. Banking background is helpful for check identification purposes.
Primary Job responsibilities:
•Use Scanner according to specific instructions provided to capture images with accuracy
•Daily maintenance of equipment
•Other office jobs as required, training will be provided (no previous tax experience required)
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
•Computer skills numeric keypad, alpha and function keys
•Microsoft Office knowledge including Outlook
•Basic mechanical/technical abilities required
•Banking background a plus
Physical requirement necessary to perform the job:
•Ability to visually review documents on a small scale on the computer monitor
•Required to move at fast pace once trained
•Ability to sit for long periods of time
•Lift and carry 15 lbs
