Chief Growth Officer

Pyramid is looking for a Chief Growth Officer. This role is responsible for new business opportunities across key agencies (e.g., DOC, USDA, FDIC, SEC, HUD, HHS, DHS, VA, DOD and other civilian sectors).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive federal growth strategy aligned with Pyramids corporate objectives.
  • Identify, qualify, and shape new business opportunities across key agencies (e.g., DOC, USDA, FDIC, SEC, HUD, HHS, DHS, VA, DOD and other civilian sectors).
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities using tools such as GovWin, BloombergGov, Sam.gov, VoiceID, and FPDS.
  • Cultivate and leverage a broad network of federal executives, contracting officers, and industry partners to position Pyramid for upcoming opportunities.
  • Lead capture management activities including competitive analysis, teaming strategy, pricing approach, win themes, and customer engagement plans.
  • Partner with internal delivery, technology, recruiting, and proposal teams to align solutions with customer needs and Pyramids strengths.
  • Collaborate with marketing and leadership to develop effective go-to-market materials, thought leadership, and event presence.
  • Establish measurable goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) for opportunity pipeline, proposal submissions, and wins.
  • Maintain high standards of organization, accountability, and disciplined pursuit management.
  • Serve as a key member of the executive team, contributing to strategic planning and corporate growth initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 1015+ years of progressive federal business development and capture management experience in IT, digital transformation, or consulting
  • Strategic and process driven leader with proven track record
  • Demonstrated success winning new business in the $10M$100M+ range with civilian or defense agencies.
  • Strong network of relationships across federal decision-makers, system integrators, and partners.
  • Has a good reputation within the federal government.
  • Deep understanding of federal acquisition processes (FAR, IDIQs, BPAs, GWACs) and the capture lifecycle including RFI, RFP, Technical challenges, demos
  • Experience developing and executing winning capture strategies with disciplined pursuit processes.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills able to communicate value and differentiate Pyramids solutions.
  • Highly organized and methodical; excels at tracking pipelines, managing pursuits, and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of key federal initiatives such as digital modernization, CX, AI / automation, HRIT, and data transformation.
  • Bachelors degree required; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, Capture / BD certifications) preferred.

Target Pay Range

The below listed pay range for this position is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The final offered salary will be influenced by a host of factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
