General Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Solar Ground Mount Construction Supervisor to oversee the installation and maintenance of solar energy projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, specifically within the renewable energy sector, and a passion for sustainable energy solutions.
Required Knowledge and Abilities :
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience will also be considered).
- 5+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on solar energy projects or similar renewable energy installations.
- Strong knowledge of solar construction techniques, materials, and relevant regulations.
- Ability to read electrical, civil, and mechanical construction drawings
- Proven leadership capabilities, with experience managing teams and subcontractors effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as required. - Certification in OSHA safety training or equivalent preferred.
