Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Insurance Customer Service Data Entry Clerk to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting the customer service department by accurately entering data related to insurance policies, while also responding to basic customer inquiries via phone or email.

ResponsibilitiesEnter, update, and maintain accurate customer and insurance policy information in internal databases and systems.
Handle data input related to new insurance applications, policy renewals, billing and cancellations.
Communicate with customers to gather or verify information and respond to basic inquiries.
Assist customer service representatives in managing administrative tasks and following up on open issues.
Ensure all data is entered promptly and adheres to company accuracy standards and compliance requirements.
Maintain confidential customer records and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Generate reports, perform quality checks, and identify discrepancies in records.
Support internal teams by providing timely and accurate documentation as needed.
RequirementsBilingual a plus
High school diploma or equivalent;
Current college student pursuing a degree in business, finance, communications, or related field preferred.
1+ year of experience in data entry, insurance, or a customer service role preferred.
Basic knowledge of insurance products and terminology is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and data entry software.
Familiarity with VOIP phone systems is strongly preferred.
Excellent typing skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work independently in a remote or office setting.
Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.
