Electronics Repair Technician in Thomasville, NC 1st shift, Monday through Friday Direct Placement

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Repair Technician who can troubleshoot and repair electronic circuit boards down to the component level. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to identify and analyze documented circuits, establish and document procedures, programs, schematics, and supporting information for boards and complete units. A strong component knowledge is essential to substitute components accurately. Soldering experience on through-hole and surface mount is required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain electrical equipment by interpreting equipment manuals, safety materials, system drawings, diagrams, schematics, and work orders.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and test equipment using a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
• Detect faulty operations and defective materials and report these and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Perform soldering and desoldering tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in electronics, troubleshooting, soldering, and using bench tech and test equipment.
• Ability to read, interpret, and modify documents and schematics.
• High degree of technical aptitude and math skills.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.
• Adherence to safe work practices.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $56160.00/yr.
