Title . Handyman / Repair Technician

Duties . This job performs handyman repairs on both properties and also on furniture owned by the company. The furniture is used for home staging and is not meant to be functional. 

Tasks

Property Handyman

• 
  Fix basic electrical like faulty electrical switches, outlets, thermostats, and light fixtures.
• Repair basic plumbing like drain clearings, fixtures, etc, 
• Fix basic HVAC issues like HVAC filter replacements and air conditioning systems. Includes fixing all basic items of property maintenance. 
• Knowledge of how to paint and repair walls
• Can do medium sized renovations such as building a new bathroom from scratch (not rough in work)

Furniture Repair

• 
  Perform routine maintenance on home staging furniture and equipment
• Install safety equipment and help assemble furniture
• Build platforms for furniture in the warehouse

Van and Equipment Maintenance Scheduling

• Take company vans to the mechanics for maintenance
• Verify the team has all the supplies needed for jobs

TERMS.

1. Start Date. Within 2 weeks of accepting the offer
2. Employment. 40 Hours per week
3. Pay. Hourly rate of $25-$28 depending on experience. Property management experience is a big plus
4. Schedule: 8am EST to 4:30pm EST
5. Probationary Period: 90 days

CONDITIONS.

1. Experience? Preference is to have some job experience with tenants regarding handyman work.
2. Background Report Required? Yes
