In 1993, Alcimed was born, with the aim of exploring and developing uncharted territories. In 30 years, more than 200 explorers have joined our adventure. Spread over our 7 offices in France, Europe, Singapore and the US, we support healthcare players on a daily basis to help them innovate and create new businesses.

Our ambition? Build a team of 1000 explorers. But a journey of a thousand miles always begins with a first step, and that first step may be you!

As soon as you arrive, you will work at the crossroads of health innovations and data. Your objective with the other members of the Data team is to develop this activity to make it a pillar of ALCIMED in 3 years.

The Data team helps its customers answer their business questions.

Your missions

• Help formulate customer questions and translate their needs into technical specifications
• Identify relevant data sources and digital solutions that could be leveraged during projects
• Complete, clean and analyze large and complex datasets (internal, external, structured or unstructured data)
• Design and develop models, algorithms and digital tools to mine and extract valuable insights
• Solve complex questions and define the implications for our customers’ teams
• Share opinion and advice with clients throughout the project

Our technical stack:

• Python, JS and related frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, Next.js), SQL, NoSQL
• OVH, Microsoft PowerPlatform, Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, Dataiku

Your profile

• With a real appetite for innovation and the health sector, you are looking to give meaning to your career
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit – you are looking to build a new venture, starting with a small team and taking any opportunity to grow our business together
• PhD or Master's Degree in relevant fields (healthcare/biomedical engineering and computer sciences/data sciences…)
• Strong experience with developing software and AI products or tools
• Passion for applying Data Science to healthcare
• With us, we don't explore alone, you also have to have a taste for teamwork
• Like any self-respecting explorer and you are curious
• Appetite for life sciences

Full-time permanent contract to be filled as soon as possible

Work authorization in the US is necessary
