Salary: $28-$35

Multicultural Alliance Health Care Solutions (MAHCS) is currently seeking  In-Person Therapists to provide culturally competent and community-based (home and school) individual and family therapy services. A large part of the caseload includes children and adolescents as well as adults, and court-ordered clients located in Broward County. Candidates must be willing to work on a fee-for-service basis and be open to working mostly afternoon and evening hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Facilitate weekly therapy sessions with client/family
• Maintain a minimum caseload of five clients
• Complete progress notes, treatment plan reviews, FARS/CFARS, and discharge summaries following Medicaid standards
• Complete monthly ChildNet reports
• Prepare court reports as needed
• Attend a minimum of monthly supervision with the MAHCS Clinical Supervisor
• Communicate effectively with case managers, referrals sources, and the MAHCS team

REQUIREMENTS

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy/Education (MHC, MSW, MFT)
• Bilingual Spanish 
• Ability to complete clinically and grammatically correct documentation
• Practical experience with therapeutic models including play therapy, solution focused, and CBT
• Registered Intern with the state of Florida (Preferred)
• At least one year experience working with children who demonstrate behavioral concerns (Preferred)
• Certified in Trauma focused therapy and/or play therapy (Preferred)

Job Type : Per-diem

Salary : $28- $35.00 per hour
