Who You Are You have freight forwarding pricing and quoting experience in both ocean and air freight and understand the complexity of international logistics. You thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and are ready to leverage your skills to deliver competitive, accurate quotes for commercial and government/defense clients. You must have prior experience in a similar freight forwarding role to be considered. Required Skills and Competencies: Proven experience in International Freight Forwarding Pricing/Quoting (Air and Ocean). Experience quoting for Commercial and Government/Defense freight. Strong understanding of multiple transportation/logistics modes and services. Ability to negotiate rates directly with air and ocean carriers, vendors, and agents. Excellent customer service and organizational skills. Proficiency in CargoWise is preferred. What You Will Do You will play a key role in managing and delivering competitive freight quotes while working closely with sales, operations, and external partners. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and competitive quotes for Commercial and Government/Defense clients. Manage quotes within customer deadlines, ensuring precision and attention to detail. Utilize CargoWise for quoting, incorporating market intelligence, shipment details, and tariff analysis. Negotiate rates with vendors, carriers, and agents for Air Freight and Ocean Freight services, including spot and promotional rates. Respond to customer and vendor inquiries via phone and email, maintaining professional communication. Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and carriers through consistent collaboration. Monitor and manage quoting activities, including Hawaiian Government Freight Management (GFM) systems. Assist with sales proposals, quoting reports, and market evaluations for sales and management teams. Support operations by converting quotes to shipments and ensuring timely tracking details when needed. What We Offer We provide competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package: Salary: $50,000-$70,000 annually, depending on experience.
