Moorings Park is looking for a Laundry Aide. The Laundry Aide is responsible for carrying out the normal laundry activities in a safe and efficient manner following all safety and sanitary procedures to established policies and in compliance with all Federal and State regulations.

Contributions:

• Separate stain and torn linen and sort soiled linen by specified category.
• Checks all residential linen for proper marking of building and apartment number.
• Reports any lost, damaged or unclaimed clothing items to the immediate Team Leader or Manager.
• Remove lint from the dryer screens twice daily.
• Clean laundry area daily.
• Informs Team Leader or Manager immediately of any repairs needed for broken or defective laundry equipment, or the need for additional supplies or chemicals.
• Maintains daily load records.
• Cleans empty laundry carts.
• Remove dirty laundry from designated areas and restock those areas.
• Operates Wrapping Machine.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language required
• During emergencies or natural disasters may be required to be on duty for the duration of the disaster.
• 0 – 3 years relevant experience.
