A medical center in northern New Jersey has an opportunity for an Adult Psychiatrist to provide locum coverage.

Opportunity Details:

• Inpatient setting
• Schedule: 8:00a-4:30p, Monday-Friday
• Weekend telephonic call, 1:4
• Patient Ages: 18+
• 1-2 admissions per day
• Daily Census: 8-10 patients
• Initial PSY Evals: 45-60 mins
• Follow-Ups: 20-30 mins
• APP, RN, SW, and CMs for support
• EMR: Epic
• Board certification required
• Paid travel & expenses

QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered New Jersey physician state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as Adult Psychiatrist Physician
• One year of Epic experience
• Board Certified

• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.

Requirements:
• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
