Nursing Adjunct Faculty Opportunity

Tallahassee State College (TSC), recently recognized as one of the Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges for 2025 , is excited to announce an Adjunct opportunity for the position of Nursing Adjunct Faculty with Applied Science and Technology Division . We are seeking a dedicated professional who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant workplace community.

What Youll Do
As an Adjunct Faculty the day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Provide instruction, service and support of college policies and procedures, along with opportunities for professional development.

Who Were Looking For
Were seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate will have:

• Must be an RN, Licensed in Florida and hold a minimum of a baccalaureate degree with a major in nursing.
• Must pass background check and meet health requirements.
• Masters degree in nursing preferred.

In addition to the minimum qualifications listed for the positions, applicants must be able to work in any clinical settings. All prospective faculty are expected to demonstrate the following characteristics:

• Commitment to student retention and success
• Commitment to development and assessment of student learning
• Use of technology and innovative approaches to enhance teaching and learning,
• including distance learning and alternative delivery systems.
• Willingness to support a diverse population of learners inside and beyond the classroom
• Ability to work in a participatory and collegial setting
