ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders, paying special attention to customer specific requirements

• Will be required to stand/lift/bend the entire shift and able to lift 65 pounds

• Must be experienced in driving motorized material handling equipment

• Will independently perform housekeeping aisle audits on a routine basis

• Must be able to work safely and efficiently in a team environment as well as be able to independently plan work activities and meet daily productivity goals.

• Must be detail oriented and able to perform basic mathematical functions

• Is able to plan and carryout movement or flow of materials or products in a productive manner

• Assure that accurate customer orders are completed with efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent with a preferred minimum of 2 years prior picking/warehouse experience

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision at times

• Ability to build and maintain relationships within the division and externally

• Strong communication skills

• Must have a positive attitude and work well with others in a team environment

• Detail oriented

• Ability to meet deadlines as assigned

COMPETENCIES

• Understanding of basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, calculations of percentages, measurement conversions).

• Time Management and Communication Skills

• Must be dependable, have good attendance, be punctual, and have a positive attitude

• Prioritizes regular workload, special tasks and concurrent projects, allocating time and resources to ensure that work is completed accurately and efficiently within established time frame.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to handle, frequently required to reach with hands and arms, and occasionally required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 65 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Compensation Information:

$20-$21
