Job Title: Production Operator
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and safety-oriented Production Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will handle salt panel and blending panel operations, batch preparation, and packaging operations. You will also be responsible for packaging, labeling, and weighing Phos-Chek® products, completing production records, and collecting quality control samples. You will work with a team of operators in the production of Phos-Chek® retardant and foams, and assist in shipping and receiving finished goods and raw materials. Ensuring a clean, safe, and healthy work environment, you will handle materials, warehousing, and shipping, and maintain physical control of non-conforming raw materials and finished goods. Additionally, you will help maintain production records and ensure compliance with D.O.T., industrial hygiene, and OSHA regulations.

Work EnvironmentOur production floor is a large manufacturing environment that can be hot, loud, and dusty. The production of fire retardant causes particles and dust, and the coloring in the retardant can stain attire. You will be required to wear steel toe shoes, dark color pants and shirt. We provide PPE, including a hard hat, safety glasses, and ear protection.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, California.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
