Currently, we are searching for a Route Sales Rep in Atlanta with experience in the tool and/or stone industry. Our client is a distributor and developer of stone fabrication tools and supplies (diamond products, abrasives, adhesive, PPE, etc). The company's product lines include over 18,000 SKUs across multiple branded products and price points.

Your job will be to drive a "Warehouse On Wheels" (custom van) to stone fab shops and sell to shop owners, managers, and other shop employees. You'll have the opportunity to essentially run your own business under their umbrella, set your own schedule, and make what you want to make.

We are looking at 2 major profiles for this position:

1) A stone industry expert with experience working with stone fabrication tools.

2) An experienced Territory Sales Rep with experience managing routes to sell products.

This will be an established territory that has thus far been underserved -- meaning there is tons of room to grow and future leadership opportunities for a successful rep!

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Drive a custom van full of inventory selling stone fabrication tools throughout the greater Atlanta metro area.
  • You'll have set routes for efficiency and will stop at each shop regularly -- drive up to a shop, shop guys come to the truck and buy what they need, then head inside and meet with management to consult and see what else you could help with
  • Load and unload your van weekly and maintain inventory
  • Spend some time researching shops in your territory to add new customers and increase your territory sales/commission.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Knowledge and experience selling tools/products to stone fabrication shops
  • Ambition to grow a territory with the resources of an established and respected company
  • Clean driving record (REQUIRED)

COMPENSATION :

  • Year 1 Total Comp Expectation = $60,000-$75,000+
  • Base = $50,000-$55,000
  • Commission = 2% of GROSS sales (Example: $1,000,000 gross sales = $20,000 commission)
