RPA Developer (UiPath)

Job Description: RPA Developer for supporting and scaling a robotic process automation (RPA) competency across a large Navy Enterprise utilizing the UiPath end-to-end platform. This position will support operation of an Enterprise RPA center of excellence and multiple operations centers, and enable organizational RPA adoption.

Responsibilities:

- Build automations to interact with existing systems to automate manual, time-consuming processes using UiPath.

- Develop scripts to create/load common test data.

- Configure, build, and test the application or technical architecture components and classes.

- Work with other developers, designers, and architects to make sure that the configuration and custom components meet application requirements and performance goals.

- Follow good security coding practices to ensure the application is free of most common coding vulnerabilities.

- Participate in code reviews.

- Inform the technical architect and project manager of any issues that may affect any other areas of the project.

- Fix any defects and performance problems discovered during testing.

Requirements:

- Able to read, interpret, and build from technical specification documents for RPA Projects in a detailed and well-organized manner.

- Ability to develop, compile, create and debug complex applications.

- Basic programming knowledge on HTML, JavaScript (or any scripting language).

- At least 1 successful RPA project implementation experience using UiPath.

- Minimum 2 years of experience developing high-quality object-oriented programs.

- Experience with Agile development methodology.

- Ability to develop and execute testing scripts for systems integration testing.

- Knowledge of best practice Code Review techniques and troubleshooting.

- Time and project management skills.

- Ability to present technical details to non-technical audiences.

- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.

- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent preferred.

- UiPath RPA Developer certification preferred.

Location: Remote with no travel

Period of Performance: 09/24 - 08/25 plus two additional option years likely.
