What you’ll Do:
The Senior GL Accountant position is a dynamic role within a fast-moving organization and environment. This individual will be a key member of the team responsible for providing timely and accurate financial data to all levels of management, offering analysis and insight on various topics, and ensuring a sound internal control environment. This role will also aid in the purchase price allocation and post-close accounting of acquisitions. This position requires an experienced, strategic, and technical self-starter with the ability to successfully manage multiple tasks, projects, and changing priorities.
Assist the accounting team in the monthly close process and the preparation of monthly financial statements.
Prepare journal entries across all business segments.
Prepare reconciliations of critical balance sheet accounts at appropriate time intervals.
Assist in the accounting integration of M&A activity, including the purchase price allocation, the working capital true-up process, and working directly with former owners.
Review and resolve general accounting matters and requests from the field.
Prepare ad hoc financial and business analyses.
Requirements We Look For:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
3+ years of relevant work experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
High proficiency in Excel
