What We're Looking For:

We’re looking for a Social Media Specialist who’s passionate about storytelling, social platforms, and creating content. We are looking for someone who is creative but at the same time thrives in an organized environment.

The Social Media Specialist will own WMP’s social presence across platforms, ensuring consistent posting, engaging storytelling, and fresh creative tailored for each channel. This person will also help create and edit short-form video content for both organic and paid social campaigns, staying on top of social trends and industry shifts to keep WMP’s content up to date.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and schedule daily posts across Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn.
• Write captions and adjust tone to fit each channel while staying on-brand.
• Ensure content aligns with campaign launches, promotions, and evergreen brand storytelling.
• Help film and edit short-form reels for social and paid ads (using tools like CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere or similar).
• Repurpose content from shoots into multiple versions for testing across organic and paid channels.
• Add captions, trending audio, and hooks to maximize engagement.
• Stay on top of social media trends, audio, and platform updates.
• Proactively pitch ideas for trending formats, challenges, or story angles.
• Report monthly on engagement, follower growth, and content performance, highlighting wins and opportunities.

Please note: A portfolio of social media work is required to be considered for this role.

Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of experience in social media management or content creation.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
• Proficient in short-form video editing (CapCut, Canva, or Adobe tools).
• Familiarity with paid social ad formats.
• Excellent writing skills with an eye for engaging, brand-aligned captions.
• Highly organized, deadline-oriented, and able to juggle multiple campaigns.
