Job Description: The Psychology Department at Assumption University in Worcester, MA seeks to hire an instructor to teach one section of PSY 210: Social Psychology during the Fall 2025 semester. The semester runs from August 25 to December 12, inclusive of the finals period. This course will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 to 11:15 AM. Adjunct instructors are welcomed members of the department and are provided with office space, email, voicemail, and the support and resources needed for quality teaching.
Requirements: Applicants with a PhD in Social Psychology or a closely related field are preferred. ABD doctoral candidates will also be considered. Individuals with a terminal master's degree in psychology with experience teaching at the college level will also be considered. Candidates must be willing to contribute actively to the mission of the University and show respect for the Catholic and Assumptionist identity of Assumption University.
