OVERVIEW:

Creekstone is searching for students who are passionate about the beef and food manufacturing industry. Departments hiring for a summer internship are: Operations, Quality Assurance, Human Resources, Accounting, and Sales. The summer internship program will last 10-12 weeks and is eligible for college credits pending appropriate paperwork submitted to Creekstone.

Each intern will spend time in each department throughout the facility and have a project assignment for the summer. The interns will be required to present their final project and cost savings to the executive team.

Interns will receive HR guidance and a mentor to support growth and acclimations. Interns will be required to complete one community service project and attend a intern dinner/team building activity during the summer.

The internship is paid and expected to work 40 hours per week, without overtime, unless approved.

At the completion of the program the intern will evaluation their summer at Creekstone and receive a performance evaluation.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Currently standing as a sophomore, junior or senior level.
  • Maintain a 3.0 GPA
  • Ability to work well with others and in a team environment
  • Must be internally motivated to learn multiple areas of the facility
  • Strong computer skills, excel, word and outlook
  • Strong communication skills
